One more week to go, One more week to go....
Yes, can you believe it, a week tomorrow I will be flying out to the ski resort....so that's one more week in the UK, 3 more days at work, 1 more weekend during which I can fight with the hordes of shoppers all trying to do their Christmas shopping but rather selfishly not realising that I'm leaving the country so HAVE to get everything bought this weekend - they've all got loads of time left!!! 5 more episodes of eastenders (I'm not sad enough to really care about that!!)... and probably only just enough time to pack......

Another week goes by...
So, what have I been up to this week? Well, Friday night the girlies (me, Claire H & Claire P) went out to the Tapas bar in Weybridge for Claire H's 30th (- which is today, and later she is going to see Christian Slater (swoon, swoon) in the west end.....) Tapas were yummy, and I even ate, and almost liked, kidneys!! Must be grown up!!
On Saturday I went to see Sharon & Sarah (from my au-pair days) in London - Sarah had a baby boy just under 6 weeks ago; he was very well behaved, and I even managed to get him to sleep!! Surprisingly heavy though - my poor arms!
Is getting a bit colder hear - and the web cams in resort show snow - hoorah!! check them out: www.la-plagne.com

Reflexology update....
Yesterday I went on the practical part of my reflexology course - it was actually really good and gave me more confidence, so I may be wanting to borrow the odd pair of feet!! I'm not fully trained yet, but have no fear.....

A busy few weeks...
Well, it has been busy, as ever, catching up with various people as it's now not long til I head back to the slopes...
Had a groovy halloween party at a work colleague's house, and got dressed up with a spider theme - a kind of self-help therapy, but I was more scared by the plastic spiders she had dotted around the house that you didn't notice until you were about to put your drink down on one!
Then we had an early fireworks chez Kate & Dunc, which was great, although one of the neighbours didn't think so! We only ducked once, despite the number of "display only" "keep at least 25metres away" fireworks..... they don't put those comments on for no reason!! However, we all survived, and I still have a large quantity of sparklers thanks to Claire H and the lady in the shop giving her a whole box rather than just a packet (but only charging for the packet!!!), and it was an excuse for me to play with my new digital camera!! I would add the pictures, but I don't have this facility on the blog.....
My other big news is that I'm currently single... Gerwyn and I have gone our separate ways - it just wasn't right.... I'm cool about it though, which re-inforces the fact that I made the right choice...
It was mum's birthday on Saturday so we went down to Chichester and had lunch with Laura & Eric in a lovely pub in East Lavant... I then went to Wokingham and met Tim and we went to the fireworks at Cantley - they were cool but there was one type that exploded high up but sent things whizzing back down to the ground - and into the crowd - had to keep your eyes open and run, but luckily none came near us....
