I'm in a different pub tonight and there is only a French keyboard, so if I stqrt typing like I zqs on qn English keyboqrd you zill stqrt to notice thqt the q is where the a is, qnd the z is zhere the w nor, qllly is; qnd so,e other stuff hqs ,oved qbout too; so itùs ,qking it q bit hqrd to understqnd zhqt on eqrth Iù, zriting:::::
Now if I slow down a bit and watch the screen I can check whqt I'm writing as I go along, but this is really tedious; so I'm going to sign off and will find an English keyboqrd!!!!!

Radio Ga Ga... inspiration please!
Hello again, I'm back already! I've found a local pub with internet connection, so this may become a more regular occurance!! Didn't get round to Parapenting the other day - several crisis, and then when I finally headed out it was cancelled as there were paying clients who wanted to go!! Who would have thought!! Anyhow, am meant to be doing Taxi Bob on Saturday - 3 of us get to go with a professional driver! Hopefully I'll still be in one piece for the Sunday transfer!
I don't think I've mentioned that I do a 5 minute radio broadcast on Tuesdays, to do the weather in English, and Lift and Piste info, and what's on around resort as well as sending out messages to guests and staff.... I've been doing this for a few weeks now, and as I've got it under control the stakes have been raised... I've been challenged to include 3 words in next Tuesday's broadcast: doppleganger, xylophone ( I can't even spell that!) and doggy-style!!! If anyone has any suggestions on how I can slip these in amongst weather reports etc I'd be very grateful!! Either drop me a comment, or an e-mail (I've not been able to see comments the last couple of times I've logged on!). I'm just off to check e-mail now, so will update my blog again soon....

Bon soir mes amies...
Hi guys, I'm back.... and have just seen Mum and Dad and Tim off back to the UK after an interesting week....Well done to mum & dad for surviving rain, yes rain, on Monday and Tuesday.... 1800 looked more like a river than a ski resort, yet they still made it to class whilst I retired to my room and read a book (Man and Boy by Tony Parsons, v good!).....then it all turned to Ice on Wednesday and I ventured out skiing with tim for an hour, only to fall over in the first ten minutes, avoiding a blader, and whack my head! I was then completely unable to ski so gave up after an hour! The snow finally arrived on Wednesday night, and has barely stopped since! So I spent nearly half an hour digging out a van on Thursday morning in order to drive up to the top of resort to have my weekly managers meeting, ie sit in an office underground, whilst all around was snowing and everyone was making the most of it! However I finally managed to get out for the whole day on Friday with Tim, who was very impressed by the fact that every time he turned around to see where I was, instead of having to wait 10 minutes for me to appear, I was right on his tails!! Now I've improved the speed I just need to work on the technique!! Mum and dad braved it out on their own on Saturday morning, dad having regained confidence with a private lesson on Thursday, and they may even consider coming back again this season!! I've got them hooked!!! So its Sunday again and I'm down the pub, and thought I'd better get on line again....I may be going parapenting tomorrow afternoon, as the weather is meant to be good.... but will have to get some skiing in first!.... Not much news other than that. Am still enjoying life! I'm off to check e-mails now, for those who don't get to my Blog!!

Bobs away!

Hello again. I'm in the pub and have found one with an internet connection that works! Had great plans to spend about an hour on the web yesterday and the network was down!! Anyway, what's the latest gossip from La Plagne? Well, on Saturday I did a bobsleigh run.... La Plagne had a Bob built for the 1992 Olympics, costing 32 million, and still costs 5 000 per day ( can you tell I'm getting good at the tourist info on the bus on transfer day!)..... and I got a free go on Saturday.... you can do Bob Raft, where 4 of you go down in an un-manned sleigh, or Bob Taxi, when a professional driver is incharge, or Mono Bob..... I'll have to have a go at the other 2 at some point during the season.... the raft was like a rollercoaster ride with g-force and pretty cold as it's outside, but really good fun!!
Other than that, have managed a bit of skiing, and quite a bit of apres ski! Mum and dad are venturing out next week, so will look forward to seeing them and showing them around...... I'm going to attempt to fight with Hotmail now and see if I can send or receive any mail.... I'll write again soon...
